I like metric units better than the United States Customary Units. It’s pretty cool that the freezing point for water is 0° C and the boiling point is 100° C. I like that there are 1,000 meters in a kilometer, but why are there 5280 feet in a mile? How many yards are in a mile? Check out the US Metric Association.
